Photovoltaics - the path to energy independence

It’s not just under the roofs of vis vitalis that we’re hard at work – on the roofs too. We are proud of our latest development in our commitment to climate-neutral production and energy independence. With the installation of the photovoltaic system on our roof, we are able to produce around 180,000 kWh of green electricity per year. The current 425 modules on our roofs (by 2024 there will be a total of 685 modules) currently generate a total output of around 161.5 kWp, which corresponds to the average annual consumption of 41 Austrian households. The system therefore covers around a third of vis vitalis’ energy requirements and brings us a step closer to our goal of complete energy independence and CO₂ neutrality.
